Hot Desk Terms & Conditions

 1. LAB•B maintains the right to inspect and control all functions being held on the premise. We also reserve the right to refuse any rental request that we consider to be inconsistent with the purpose and policies of our space. 


2. LAB•B and the Mill are 100% smoke-free facility. Smoking is not permitted anywhere on the property.

3. The provision of alcoholic beverages must be approved in advance by LAB•B management. Organizers are responsible for obtaining an S.O.P and ensuring that the legal obligation of the Province of Ontario and the City of Brampton are met.

4. Events and workshops that take place outside of (or extend beyond) our normal Hours of Operations will require special arrangement with LAB•B management and may include additional charges.

5. Organizers are responsible for their own event setup and takedown unless otherwise agreed to in writing. If furniture is moved, it must be returned after the event has finished. (Please ask LAB•B staff for help if required)

6. The organization agrees to pay for any damage caused to LAB•B, to the equipment of LAB•B and to its surrounding property as a result of the event. Proof of Insurance or Insurance Indemnification must also be provided in advance by the Organizers and must be attached to this agreement.

7. LAB•B is not responsible for unsecured rooms or for any items left unattended in the common areas during the meeting or event rental.

8. When reserving the meeting space, you must remain respectful of noise and foot traffic to minimize the impact on other Members in the space.

9. The LAB•B facilities must be left clean and undamaged after each event. It is the responsibility of the event Organizer to leave the space in the same condition in which it was found. Failure to leave the space in a clean and undamaged condition will result in additional fees.

10. Because of the hardwood flooring in our space all furniture must be moved carefully (lifted or slid on sliders). If there are new scratches in the floor from your use of the space, LAB•B reserves the right to charge for the damage caused by such action.

11. LAB•B reserves the right to request a Damage Deposit and/or to charge a facility Cleaning Fee, depending on the nature and size of the event of up to $300.

12. The Damage Deposit will be returned to the Organizer once the facility has passed inspection by LAB•B management. All keys must be returned, and all belongings must be removed from the space to receive the Deposit Refund. A Storage Fee will be charged for items left on the premise.

13. In the event that you cancel your Event Reservation less than 48 hours before the scheduled date, you will be charged the 50% of full rental fee. In the event that you cancel your Meeting Space Reservation less than 48 hours before the scheduled booking, you will be charged 50% of the full reservation.

14. Payment can be made in cash, credit card or by Interac Email Transfer.

Failure to comply with these Policies and Conditions will result in additional charges, as well as the loss of the privilege of renting LAB•B.
